Susan Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY. 
She has been an artist all of her life, beginning as a painter 
and over the last twenty years emerging as a photographer. 
Her love for photography began while studying at Cooper 
Union, but did not take on a central role until years later. 
Most of her photographs are done in upstate New York, where 
she has a home in Columbia County, and in downtown 
Manhattan, where she has lived and worked for many 
years.
